OMD Downfeed spring grinders are electronically controlled precision spring grinding machines. Downfeed spring grinders provide for simultaneous grinding of both spring ends for cylindrical and conical compression springs.
Grinding methods may include • Downfeed grinding • Grinding method with automatic feeding advance (Digital grinding) • Grinding method with automatic feeding advance and spring length gage (EVCON). Downfeed spring grinders are available in 1E (single loading plate) and 2E (two loading plates) configurations. When one plate is being ground, the other is being loaded/unloaded.
