The SLG10 spring length gage supplied by HSI, is designed to use a temperature compensating probe for accurate measurement of spring length during the coiling process. The SLG length gages will provide feedback to the coiling machine for sorting purposes and corrective action, according to parameters established for each spring. For mechanical machines, pitch control motors are also available. Spring sorters are available in a variety of sizes and configurations, as well as retractable probes to move the sensor away during cutoff.
